Student Serve Weekend: Twice a year we set aside time for students to head out into the community to serve.
This year we will head over to Kaufman, TX to serve a Christian camp called Hidden Acres on December 7th.
This camp was introduced to Mosaic by Jason and Heather Henry. Their family has helped in numerous ways with the camp since they were young -- and they are excited to extend an invite to Mosaic to check out this ministry (this serve day will also serve as an opportunity to introduce students to the camp as a possible mission trip experience this coming summer).
This will be an all day event, and ideally we will all be able to drive or carpool together. As the date approaches we will nail down specific projects as well as the travel logistics (and see how the weather is treating us). Meals will be provided, and students are encouraged to wear clothes they can work in.
The cost is $20 to participate. All of our 6th-12th graders are invited to participate. Please sign up by November 1st so we can get an accurate headcount. If cost is an issue or you have any questions, send an email to jonathan@mosaicrichardson.com
