Students Mission Trip: This summer we will have the opportunity to head over to Kaufman, to serve with Hidden Acres camp (11350 Hidden Acres Ln., Kaufman, TX 75142). This will be from July 28th-August 1st, and open to our current 6th-12th graders (this will not include our outgoing 5th graders // incoming 6th graders).
Each year Hidden Acres hosts 'Mission Camps' which are day camps for different groups. Our Mission Camp week will be in partnership with For the Nations, which is a local ministry partner of ours that serves refugees in our wider community. We will be serving alongside the Hidden Acres staff and other students from 3 other churches. On Tuesday-Friday kids will be bussed in for a day of Bible lessons, games, crafts, songs, and more. Our students and those from the other churches will stay at the camp in cabins, and have their own times of devotions, meals, etc. This week will have a mixed feel of mission trip and church camp. Hidden Acres has their own summer staff team that puts on all the programming for students, and then during the day our students serve as leaders/counselors for the campers. I'm looking forward to it, and very excited to introduce the camp to our church.

There will be a parent informational meeting at 9 AM on Sunday, January 26th in the basement.
